自2020年7月1日起，海南离岛旅客每年每人免税购物额度从三万元额度提升为10万元，离岛免税商品品种由38增至45种，并取消单件商品8000元免税限额规定。

此外， 财政部和国家税务总局日前发布通知，明确自2020年1月1号起至2024年12月31号，对注册在海南自由贸易港实质性运营的鼓励类产业企业减按15%的税率征收企业所得税。

July 2nd at 10 pm, CGTN reported that Hainan’s Duty-free shopping quota was raised to 100,000 yuan per tourist per year.

CGTN7月2日晚10时报道，海南离岛免税购物额度提升至每人每年十万元。

China's Ministry of Finance says Hainan will increase its annual tax-free shopping quota for travelers. It’s part of an effort to build the southern island into a free trade port. Effective Wednesday July 1st, the quota will be raised to 100,000 yuan, or about 14,000 U.S. dollars, per person each year from the current 30,000 Yuan. The categories of duty-free goods will also be expanded, while some electronic products will be added to the duty-free list. The current tax-free limit of 8,000 yuan for a single product will be lifted, and the number of categories with a single-purchase quantity limit will be significantly reduced.

中国财政部表示，海南将提高游客年度免税购物额度。这也是自贸港建设的重要一环。自7月1日起，海南免税配额将由目前的每人每年3万元人民币提高到每人每年10万元人民币（约合14,000美元）。免税商品的类别将会增多，同时在免税清单中，还将列入部分电子产品。取消单件商品8000元免税限额规定，同时大幅减少单次购买数量限制的商品种类。

I bought some watches and cosmetics. We could only buy 12 pieces in the past, but now, we can buy more products within 30 different items. It spares us from calculating precisely. Basically, with the higher quota and the removal of the 8,000 yuan limit, we can buy some luxury goods and more cosmetics now.

This is my first time here. I didn’t expect that the favorable policies could be implemented so quickly, I mean, in July. I can now purchase as many pieces as I want as long as the total price exceeds 8,000. I bought a watch, some skin care products, lipsticks and makeup.

这是我第一次过来，我之前没有想到这么快，七月份就能实施，政策还挺好的，8000以上都是不限件数的，买了一个手表，买了一些护肤品，还有一些口红彩妆。

The duty-free shopping policy was implemented in April 2011 and has been improved since then, with the sales of offshore duty-free shopping hitting 53.8 billion yuan and the number of buyers reaching 16.31 million by the end of 2019. The policy adjustment is expected to improve consumers' shopping experience, release policy dividends and enhance confidence in the development of the Hainan Free Trade Port.

免税购物政策于2011年4月实施后，一直处于不断完善中。至2019年底，离岸免税购物销售额达到538亿元，购买人数达1631万。调整免税购物额可以改善消费者的购物体验，发放政策红利，并增强大家对海南自由贸易港发展信心。
